Music
“With strings, yes, with the lyre,
With voices praise the sovereign God,
A lusty, joyous choir.
—Psalm 98
Music at Creekside

The music program at Creekside expands and enhances the worship experience with traditional, innovative, and multicultural music.
Creekside has choirs for anyone age 5 and older, plus a handbell choir, a Dixieland band, the Creekside Men, and many talented vocalists and instrumentalists who lead us in worship throughout the year. Choirs meet from September through May for weekly rehearsals, sing and play in worship, and perform for the traditional Acoustic Christmas program and the February Cabaret. Join us!

Fun Facts
The sanctuary organ is a tracker-action instrument constructed by Charles Hendrickson in St. Peter, Minnesota, and installed in Creekside in 1988. Members designed the carved wooden boats on the organ.
The New Century Hymnal, the hymnal of the United Church of Christ, is used in Creekside worship. A favorite collection of hymns by Creekside member Marty Haugen is also an important part of our hymnody.
